Learn more about our water filtration solutions
Pall Medical provides a complete portfolio of Point-of-Use and prefiltration solutions designed to deliver micro-biologically controlled water and manage particulate loads in healthcare, residential, and public facilities.
Point-of-Use (POU) water filters remove bacteria, fungi, protozoa and particles, at the faucet, tap or shower outlet, improving water quality.
Pall Medical provides Point-of-Use sterilizing-grade water filters for faucets and showers that can be shipped within 24 hours. These filters use a validated 0.2 µm membrane as a physical barrier against waterborne pathogens such as Legionella, Pseudomonas, and non-tuberculous mycobacteria (NTM), offering an immediate and effective infection-control measure.
Prefiltration is the first stage of water treatment where filters remove particulates, sediments, and other debris before the water reaches the point of water delivery.
ASTM F838-20 is titled "Standard Test Method for Determining Bacterial Retention of Membrane Filters Utilized for Liquid Filtration". The filters are challenged with Brevundimonas diminuta (0.3 µm) at a concentration of 107 colony forming units (CFU) per cm2 of effective filtration area (EFA) to give a standard challenge independent of filter size.
